Professor Richard M. Perlmutter
Professor of Law, Suffolk University Law School

Professor Richard M. Perlmutter, Professor of Law at the Suffolk University Law School, Boston. Richard M. Perlmutter has been a Professor of Law at Suffolk University Law School since 1976, teaching courses in Contracts, Contract Drafting, Remedies, Sports Law and Negotiation for lawyers. He is a cum laude graduate of Harvard University Law School and a magna cum laude graduate of Tufts University. Prior to joining the Suffolk Law School Faculty, Professor Perlmutter served as law clerk to the Justice of the Massachusetts Superior Court and engaged in the private practice of law in Boston, specialising in real estate, business, acquisitions and health facilities law.
He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Sports Lawyer Association. Professor Perlmutter has served as an arbitrator and consults regularly with several Massachusetts law firms within his area of expertise and appellate and other matters. Professor Perlmutter has also served as a member of the faculty and director of the Institute in International Law at Lund University in Sweden and as faculty in the Suffolk Law School LL.M for international Business Lawyers in Budapest, Hungary.
Professor Perlmutter presents seminar on various dates on Negotiation Skills for Lawyers, medical administrators and other groups. He is also a Lecturer / Presenter on Legal Ethics and Professional Standards, Drafting Contracts and Transactional Skills. Professor Perlmutter is currently legal and business consultant to several business organizations. Professor Viktoria Dalko is teaching at Harvard University and professor of finance at the City University of New York (CUNY). At age 27, Professor Dalko became the Chief of Staff of the Committee of Budget, Tax and Finances of the first newly democratic Hungarian parliament. She was a member of the advisory committee to the President of the National Bank of Hungary, at the outset of the transition to the market economy. Prof Dalko is also a Research Fellow in the International Center for Corporate Accountability (ICCA) focusing on interdisciplinary research on how to manage, govern and regulate corporations to achieve long and successful life and the consequences of corporate longevity on the equity markets and social stability.
Professor Dalko has been an outstanding teacher with 5.0/5.0 evaluations from executive classes at both Harvard and CUNY. In the last five years, she taught and consulted for executives in Asia, including Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Saigon, Singapore, and Taipei; in addition to Europe and North America. Clients she served include Fortune 100 global corporations, government agencies and private firms. Professor Dalko has been teaching Creating Value through Corporate Restructuring, Mergers and Acquisitions course to graduate students at Harvard University for several years.
John Vercoe

John Vercoe is qualified as a barrister and solicitor with over 32 years experience in working at leading international companies and law firms in oil & gas & IT business. John was initially lawyer with International law Computers (ICL) and then became general counsel of Texas Instruments UK. John was general counsel of British Gas (BG) E&P for many years, involved in the huge BG privatization program and then the acquisition of several large international oil companies privately on the market. John has worked in Kazakhstan for over 6 years and a stage at Shell’s HQ in The Hague, Netherlands, having been senior attorney for Baker & McKenzie, Head of Legal Services for OKIOC (North Caspian oil & gas joint venture leading to the discovery of the giant Kashagan Field), Vice President of Legal Services for Hurricane Hydrocarbons (now PetroKazakhstan), and partner at two international law firms, PLLG and Dr K C Mildwaters. John was also a partner at Fasken Martineau Stringer Saul, London, UK, a leading British-Canadian law firm where he specialized in oil & gas. Starting at Texas Instruments, John has taken a great interest in the interaction between law and business and has followed business schools programs at leading business schools, Cranfield University & Nottingham Law School, both in the UK.
Throughout his career, John has taken a keen interest in education and training. At British Gas, he gave regular presentations and training to in-house professional staff; he has given talks and lectures on oil and gas law at Dundee University (Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy) and external conferences on gas transportation and health and safety. In 2007, he gave a dedicated oil and gas legal training course to the general counsel and legal department of Kazmunaigas EP, the state oil company of Kazakhstan. In 2007/2008, he authored legal articles which appeared in the "Chemical Engineer" and the "Canadian Instituting of Mining" journals.

Till Vestring is the Managing Partner of Bain & Company's SE Asia practice. He joined Bain in Munich in 1990 and has spent the last 15 years in Asia working in Bain's offices in Singapore, Sydney, Hong Kong and Tokyo. He has worked extensively with SE Asian companies and with multinationals on M&A, merger integration, strategy and full potential programs. As the former head of the firm's global Merger Integration practice, he has deep experience in making mergers and acquisitions work. Mohd Khairil Kevin

Mohd Khairil Kevin is a Kuala Lumpur based partner of Bain & Company’s SE Asia practice. He has more than 12 years of consulting experience working out of Bain’s offices in Singapore, San Francisco, Munich and Sydney. At Bain, Khairil is focused on supporting Private Equity and Sovereign Wealth Funds, active investors and strategic buyers across the region on their M&A strategy, commercial due diligence, post acquisition turnaround and merger integration. He has a built a track record of leading a number of successful merger integration efforts across the region. Prior to joining Bain, Khairil was a consultant at Coopers & Lybrand, Management Consulting Services and an associate with a consulting firm in London. Anwar’s major work exposures are in the areas of corporate strategy, national policies, business restructuring and corporate finance. Anwar joined PwC in 1991 initially to head an IT practice of the consultancy arm. In 1993, he assumed overall leadership for the management consultancy practice and subsequently he became the partner-in-charge of the Corporate Finance Group within the firm. Jacques Pickering

Jacques Pickering is the Executive Director of Pickering Pacific Pte Ltd. In this capacity, he directs the overall operations of Pickering Pacific and acts as its principal consultant. Before setting up Pickering Pacific in 2004, Jacques had worked on more than 50 M&A transactions. From 2000 to 2003 Jacques worked in senior M&A and financial roles for the H.J. Heinz Company, a U.S.-based Fortune 500 company. He first worked at Heinz World Headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (U.S.) as General Manager in charge of Portfolio Planning and Analysis, and then in Melbourne (Australia) as Director, Planning & Business Development for Heinz Australasia.
